Modular Additions, shortened to Mods, are small add-ons or limiting rules that set parameters for game play based on specific worlds or games as directed by the Game Master. The following are divided by campaigns.
Multiverse Mods
Modular additions that are made for any world or game play.
Saves Made Simple
This is an option that the GM can chose to implement in their game which automatically gives the Saving Proficiency trait to characters. With this game option, characters automatically gain the Saving Proficiency trait first when their Proficiency Score is 6 and a second time when their Proficiency Score is 12. This grants the trait for free, costing no trait points for the characters. The saves that they become proficient in through this game option are the player’s choice.
Not All is Lost
This is an option that the GM can chose to implement in their games which converts all unspent Heritage Points into Trait Points.
Change of Direction
This is an option that the GM can chose to implement in their games which allows characters to retrain their traits. If a character wishes to lose a trait and regain those trait points specifically to learn a new trait, they may do so, but the new trait costs one extra trait point marking the lost in time and resources to the retraining. GMs may implement this with restrictions to the number or frequency of use, however a recommended frequency is only once per Proficiency Score increase.
