Bloodied Shield. The first time Bosori is reduced to below half Hit Points (98), a magical shield, nearly invisible, forms around him. When this happens, he gains the following:

Immunities:

  • Effects with the fire tag
  • Poison

Resistances:

  • 20 against physical damage except those with the silver or Integrity tags
  • 30 against effects with the magical tag
  • 10 against effects with the acid or cold tags

Devil’s Luck. Five times per 24 hours, Bosori can reroll an Ability Check, Attack Roll, Saving Throw, or Skill Check. He must take the second roll, even if it is worse.

Regeneration (5, Integrity). Bosori heals 5 hit points per round, at the beginning of his turn, and cannot die as long as this is still functioning. This does not prevent Bosori from gaining the Unconscious condition should his hit points reach 0. If Bosori takes damage with the integrity tag, this ability stops functioning for a round. During this round, Bosori cannot heal damage through Regeneration and can die normally. Attack forms that do not deal hit point damage are not healed by regeneration. Regeneration also does not restore hit points lost from starvation, thirst, or suffocation. This ability, granted from a Pit Fiend’s power, does not allow Bosori to regrow limbs.

Actions

Flail (1 hand). Melee Strike +18/+13/+8 (shove, trip) with 5d8+4 bludgeoning damage and 1d6 negative damage. As a Single Action, Bosori can activate the Void Rune on the Flail, causing Strikes with it for the next round to ignore all armor bonuses (Armor, Shield, and Item bonuses) along with untagged resistances.

Lion’s Shield. As a Free Action, three times per 24 hours, Bosori can command his Lion’s Shield to make the following: Melee Strike +18 with 4d6 bludgeoning damage.

Raise Shield. As a Single Action while wearing his Lion’s Shield, Bosori can raise his shield. This reduces the damage of a successful Strike by 10 and inflicts 1 Dent to the shield. The shield gains the Broken Condition after taking 10 Dents.

Throwing Axe (1 hand). Ranged Strike +16/+12/+8 (agile, range 20 feet) with 3d6 slashing damage. Both throwing axes return to Bosori’s hand if it is still free, otherwise it falls to the ground at his feet.
