You discharge a powerful bolt of lightning at the target, dealing a number of d12s electricity damage equal to half your Proficiency Score unless the target succeeds at a Reflex save. The electricity arcs to another creature within 30 feet of the first target then jumps to another creature within 30 feet of that target and so on. You can end the chain at any point. You cannot target the same creature more than once, and you must have line of sight on all targets. Targets after the first take successively one less d12 electricity damage and must also attempt a Reflex save. On a critical failure, a target takes double damage, and, on a success, they take half damage. Roll the damage only once and apply the appropriate amount it to each target. Chain Lightning is on the Arcane and Primal Spell Lists.
