A shroud of darkness prevents light from penetrating or emanating within the area. Light cannot pass through, so creatures in the area cannot see outside. From outside, it appears as a globe of pure darkness. Darkness attempts to dispel any source of light with the magical tag, unless that spell prevents such actions, and automatically extinguishes any source of light without the magical tag. Darkness is on all Spell Lists.
Heighten (+2): Using a Level 4 Spell Slot and higher, creatures with dark vision cannot see through Darkness.
