You toss a bead of fire as your somatic action and a burst of fire explodes on impact, dealing a number of d6s fire damage equal to your Proficiency Score. Creatures in the area must attempt a Reflex save. On a successful save the target takes half damage, on a failure the target takes full damage, and on a critical failure the target takes double damage. Fireball is on the Arcane and Primal Spell Lists.

Heighten (+4): Using a Level 7 Spell Slot and higher, you can choose, when casting the spell, to have the fireball explode any time within the next 5 rounds. A creature that picks the fireball bead up can throw it but handling it within a round of its denotation has a 25% chance of the bead exploding when picked up.
