You quiet the target’s voice, preventing it from giving any valuable secrets. On a success, the effects last a round, while a failure causes the duration to be a minute and, on a critical failure, the duration is 10 minutes. This does not prevent the target from talking or performing Verbal Casting actions but no creature more than 10 feet away can hear the target’s croaking whispers without a successful Perception check against your Spell DC. This has the chance of interfering with effects with the auditory and lingual effects and communication that reaches beyond 10 feet. Once the target has rolled the save, it is Bolstered against Forced Quiet.
