conjuration, magical
- Casting Time: 2 actions; Somatic and Verbal
- Range: 30 feet
- Area: 4, 5 foot squares
- Target: 1 object of Bulk 1 or less
- Duration: 1 minute per Proficiency Score (D)
You conjure greasy goo, with effects based on your target.
- Area. Each creature within the area must attempt an Acrobatics check to maintain their balance against your Spell DC. Creatures using an action with the move tag after the spell has been cast must also attempt an Acrobatics check to Balance. A creature that takes a Step action does not have to Balance.
- Object. If you cast the spell on an unattended object, those trying to pick up the object must succeed at an Acrobatics check against your Spell DC to do so. If you target an attended object, the creature that has the object must attempt an Acrobatics check. On a failure the creature with the object takes disadvantage to any attack roll or to any check that involves using the object, while on a critical failure the creature drops the item. If dropped, the object lands in an adjacent square of the GM’s choice. If the object is a piece of clothing, the wearer inflicts disadvantage to those trying to Grapple or Shove them and gains advantage to their checks to remove the Grabbed condition.
Grease is on the Arcane and Primal Spell Lists.
