This apparently normal hat allows its wearer to alter their appearance as with an Illusory Disguise spell. As part of the disguise, the hat can be changed to appear as a comb, ribbon, headband, cap, coif, hood, helmet, and so on. The limits of the spell are determined by the quality of the hat. Unless otherwise listed, a hat of disguise is an uncommon item.
- Minor (60 silvers). Illusory Disguise is cast with a Level 1 Spell Slot.
- Lesser (400 silvers). Illusory Disguise is cast with a Level 2 Spell Slot.
- Basic (950 silvers). Illusory Disguise is cast with a Level 3 Spell Slot.
- Greater (1,800 silvers). Illusory Disguise is cast with a Level 4 Spell Slot.
- True (3,000 silvers). Illusory Disguise is cast with a Level 5 Spell Slot. This is a rare item.
