Insight represents one’s ability to notice truth and make connections. This skill is particularly useful in social encounters for identifying lies or half-truths, but it can also be used for reflection on particular courses of actions and their potential impacts.
Discern Lies

Insight can be used to identify a lie or, sometimes, a lie by omission during social interactions or combat. When you use this action, roll against an opponents’ Deception or Passive Deception. A Passive Deception should only be used if the lie is rehearsed or familiar.
Divine

You can sometimes use Insight to gain understanding about an action, object, person, or place by reflecting on potential impacts. This can be used if you have forgotten previous learned knowledge and need to dig into subconsciously understood information. This DC should be set based on the circumstances.
