Master Hunter

Prerequisite: Hide in Plain Sight, Improved Quarry, and Track Master

Cost: 7 Points

You can, as a double action, make a Strike against your quarry. If the attack hits, the target takes damage normally and must make a Fortitude save or die. You can choose, instead of instantly killing the quarry, to deal an amount of nonlethal damage equal to the creature’s current hit points. The DC of this save is equal to either you Acrobatics DC or Athletics DC (whichever is higher). A successful save negates both the death and the damage. You can use Master Hunter once per 24 hours against each favored enemy tag you possess, but not against the same creature more than once in 24 hours. If you choose to try and instantly kill the target, this trait gains the death tag.
