You have made an agreement with some unknown, eldritch power. You must spend one hour every day in communion with your Patron. In doing so you gain the ability to use other traits that require the Patron trait as a prerequisite. Unless there are other circumstances, failing to commune has consequences.

Failing to commune for an hour a day means you lose access to any abilities that require Patron until you spend an hour in your communion. Failing to commune for a week means you lose access to all traits that require Patron until you spend 24 hours in communion to regain this trait. Acting contrary to your patron’s edicts through actions or words also means you lose access to all abilities that require Patron until you spend 24 hours in communion to regain this trait. If you have to commune for the 24 hours more than three times to regain this trait in a short period of time, you lose it and cannot gain it back to your original patron for a full year. You can only have one Patron at a time.
