healing, magical, necromancy
- Casting Time: 10 minutes; Material, Somatic, and Verbal
- Requirements: diamonds (worth silver of at least the target’s Proficiency Score × 250)
- Range: touch
- Target: 1 creature with a Proficiency Score of 13 or less with the Dead condition
You attempt to call forth the dead creature’s soul, requiring the creature’s body be present and relatively intact. The creature must have died within the past 3 days. If Gaenos has decided that the creature’s time has come or if the creature does not wish to return to life, this spell automatically fails but the diamonds are not consumed in the casting. A creature with the construct or undead tags, a creature who was killed through an effect with the death tag, or a creature who died of old age cannot be raised.
If the spell is successful, the creature is no longer dead and returns to life with 1 Hit Point, no Spell Slots available, no points in any pools, and it is still suffering from any long-term debilitations of the old body. The time spent in the afterlife leaves the target temporarily debilitated, making it Enervated 2 for 1 week and this condition cannot be removed or reduced by any means until the week has passed. The creature is also permanently changed in some way by their time in the afterlife, such as a slight personality shift, a lock of white hair, or a strange new birthmark. Raise Dead is on the Divine Spell List.
Heighten (+1): For each Spell Slot of the Heightened Spell Levels (7, 8, 9, 10), increase the maximum Proficiency Score of a creature you can target by 2.

Level 10 Spell Slot. You can target any creature, no matter their Proficiency Score.
