Spell: Righteous Might ~ Level 6

  • Requirements: You worship a deity
  • Duration: 1 minute per Proficiency Score (C)

You focus all your divine energy into transforming yourself into a battle form armed with powerful divine armaments granted by your deity. Your gear is absorbed into you and their constant abilities still function, but you cannot activate them. When you transform, you gain the following.

  • Ability Score: +2 Strength and +2 Dexterity bonus
  • Armor Class: +1 Deflection bonus, ignore Armor Check Penalty and Speed Penalty from gear
  • Hit Points: +20 temporary hit points
  • Speed: 40 feet
  • Ability: resistance 3 against all damage
  • Attacks: Proficient with your deity’s favored weapon, +6 damage and three more base damage dice
  • Senses: Gain dark vision
  • Skills: Gain advantage to Athletics checks

These special statistics can be adjusted only by Insight bonuses, Assist bonuses, advantage, and disadvantage. Your form prevents you from casting spells, speaking, or taking most manipulate actions that require hands. The GM decides if there is doubt about an action. Righteous Might is on the Divine Spell List.

Heighten (+2): For each Spell Slot of the Heightened Spell Levels (8, 10), your form increases a size step, your Deflection bonus increases by 2, your temporary Hit Points increase by 20, your resistance increases by 2, and your damage bonus increases by 2 with another damage dice. For each size increase, all your attacks gain a 5-foot reach. You must have enough space to expand, or the spell is lost. Each size has a Size bonus or penalty to AC: –1 for Large, –2 for Huge, –4 for Gargantuan, –8 for Colossal.

Level 8 or 9 Spell Slot. The following are instead of lower-level versions:

  • Size: Large (–1 AC),
  • Deflection: +3
  • Hit Points: +40 temporary hit points
  • Resistance: 5 against all damage
  • Attacks: +8 damage with five extra damage dice and all weapons gain 5-foot extra reach (reach 10 feet if it did not already have reach)

Level 10 Spell Slot and higher. The following are instead of lower-level versions:

  • Size: Huge (–2 AC)
  • Deflection: +6
  • Hit Points: +60 temporary hit points
  • Resistance: 7 against all damage
  • Attacks: +10 damage with seven extra damage dice and all weapons gain 10-foot extra reach (reach 15 feet if it did not already have reach)
