Robe of Eyes

divination, magical

  • Price: 4,800 silvers
  • Bulk: L
  • Hands:
  • Slot: body

This valuable garment appears to be a normal robe with elaborate embroidery. Its wearer is able to see in all directions at the same moment due to scores of magical eye-like patterns that adorn the robe. The wearer also gains dark vision at 120 feet if they did not have that already. The wearer sees all creatures and objects within 120 feet, including those with the Invisible condition, who on the Ethereal plane, or have the incorporeal tag. The wearer of a robe of eyes gains a 2d8 Item bonus on Perception checks. They cannot be flanked and do not take any precision damage from Sneak Attack or the like.

They are not able to avert or close their eyes when confronted by a creature with a gaze attack. A Light, Continual Flame spell, or other effect with the light tag that is cast directly on a robe of eyes causes the wearer to be Blinded for 1d3 minutes in addition to any other effects. A Searing Light spell inflicts the Blinded condition on the wearer for 2d4 minutes. A robe of eyes is a rare item.
