A rope of entanglement looks just like any other hempen rope about 30 feet long. Upon command, the rope lashes forward 20 feet or upward 10 feet to automatically inflict the Entangled condition. This condition’s Flat DC increases to 10. The target can break free with a DC 30 Acrobatics or Athletics check.
A rope of entanglement has AC 30, Hardness 5, Toughness 10, Resistance 5 against all damage except effects with the fire or slashing tags, and has the Flammable tag. The rope repairs damage to itself at a rate of 1 Toughness Point per 5 minutes, but if a rope of entanglement is severed or it takes 10 Dents, it is destroyed. A rope of entanglement is a rare item.
