Spell: Sleep ~ Level 1

Each target in the area becomes drowsy and falls asleep, depending on its Will save. A creature that falls asleep from this spell gains the Asleep condition. This spell does not prevent creatures from waking up due to a successful Perception check, making it of limited use during combat. On a failure the target gains the Asleep condition for the duration of the spell unless woken through other means, while on a critical failure the target gains the Asleep condition for a full hour. Sleep is on the Arcane and Occult Spell Lists.

Heighten (+2): For each Spell Slot of the Heightened Spell Levels (3, 5, 7, 9), increase the radius by 5 feet.

Level 3 Spell Slot and higher. A creature inflict with the Asleep condition from this spell cannot be woken for a round on a failed save or a minute on a critically failed save. The area increases to a 10-foot radius burst.

Level 5 or 6 Spell Slot. The area increases to a 15-foot radius burst.

Level 7 or 8 Spell Slot. The area increases to a 20-foot radius burst.

Level 9 Spell Slot and higher. The area increases to a 25-foot radius burst.
