When taking this trait, you select one of the following features. Your animal must count for the required type to gain the listed benefits. You can take this trait twice.
- Clever (Animal Companion, Familiar). Make the following adjustments to a full-grown animal to make it a clever animal. Increase the animal’s Intelligence score by 4, thus increasing the modifier by 2. Increase its Dexterity and Wisdom scores by 2, increasing the modifiers by 1. Increase its Strike damage by a die. It gains proficiency in a new skill of your choice.
- Nimble (Animal Companion, Familiar, Mount). Make the following adjustments to a full-grown animal to make it a nimble animal. Increase the animal’s Dexterity score by 4, increasing the modifier by 2. Increase its Strength, Constitution, and Wisdom scores by 2, thus increasing the modifiers by 1. Increase its Strike damage by a die. It gains advantage to Acrobatics.
- Savage (Animal Companion, Mount). Make the following adjustments to a full-grown animal to make it a savage animal. Increase the animal’s Strength score by 4, thus increasing the modifier by 2. Increase its Dexterity, Constitution, and Wisdom scores by 2, thus increasing the modifiers by 1. Increase its Strike damage from by a die. It gains advantage to Athletics. If your companion is Medium or smaller, it grows in size by one category.
- Sturdy (Animal Companion, Mount). Make the following adjustments to a full-grown animal to make it a sturdy animal. Increase the animal’s Constitution score by 4, thus increasing the modifier by 2. Increase its Strength, Dexterity, and Wisdom scores by 2, thus increasing the modifiers by 1. Increase its Strike damage from by a die. Add 5 Hit Points for every point of its Proficiency Score.
