- Casting Time: 2 actions, Somatic and Verbal
- Duration: 1 minute per Proficiency Score
You create a magical blade made of one of the following elements: flames, ice, stone, or wind. The blade is treated like a Scimitar with the Sweep tag and from the Sword Group. Attacking with an Elemental Blade counts as making a Spell Attack instead of a Melee Attack. The weapon deals a number of d6s damage equal to a quarter of your Proficiency Score. The damage dealt depends on the element selected. A flame blade deals fire damage, an ice blade deals cold damage, a stone blade deals acid damage, and a wind blade deals electricity. This spell gains the same tag as the damage.
The blade can also affect objects according to what it is made of. A flame blade can ignite materials such as cloth, paper, straw, or wood. An ice blade freezes water it touches, creating ice in a 2-foot burst that is an inch thick. A stone blade counts as adamantine for the purpose of damaging objects. A wind blade can cause a small draft of air movement which is just enough to affect light weight objects such as cloth, grass, leaves, and paper. Elemental Blade is on the Primal Spell List.
