The target’s senses are acutely rewired in unexpected ways, causing them to process noises as bursts of color, smells as sounds, and so on. This has three effects, depending on the target’s Will save.

  • Disoriented. The creature has trouble moving effectively, making it Sluggish 3 and Hampered 10 feet.
  • Disrupted Concentration. Due to the distraction, the target must succeed at a Flat DC 5 check each time it uses an action or reaction with the concentration tag. On a failed check, the action or reaction fails.
  • Processing Senses. The reprocessing of the target’s visual senses makes all creatures and objects Concealed from it.

On a successful save the target is affected for a round, on a failure the target is affected for a minute and on a critical failure the target is Stunned for a round and then affected for a minute. Synesthesia is on the Occult Spell List.

Heighten (+1): For each Spell Slot of the Heightened Spell Levels (6, 7, 8, 9, 10), increase the number of targets by 1.

Level 6 Spell Slot. You can target up to 2 creatures.

Level 7 Spell Slot. You can target up to 3 creatures.

Level 8 Spell Slot. You can target up to 4 creatures.

Level 9 Spell Slot. You can target up to 5 creatures.

Level 10 Spell Slot. You can target up to 6 creatures.
