A tanglefoot bag is filled with sticky substances. When you hit a creature with a tanglefoot bag as a ranged attack, that creature becomes Entangled for 1 minute and takes the listed Hampered condition. This Hampered condition is instead of that applied by the normal Entangled condition. Tanglefoot bags are not effective when used on a creature that is in water as the sticky substance used dissolves in water. The target or a creature adjacent to the target can end the Entangled condition by spending a double action with the Interact tag to make an Athletics check with a DC equal to the original attack roll. These actions need not be consecutive. Unless otherwise listed, a tanglefoot bag is a common item.
