Spell: Weird ~ Level 9

You fill the targets’ minds with terrifying images of fearsome creatures, each drawn from the target’s worst fears. Only the targets can see their assailants. For each target, they must make a Will save or take a number of d8s psychic damage equal to half your Proficiency Score. On a successful save a creature takes no damage, on a failure a creature takes full damage and is inflicted with the Frightened 2 condition, and on a critical failure a creature is so afraid it might instantly die, and it must attempt a Fortitude saving throw. On a successful Fortitude save a creature takes double damage and is Fleeing until the end of its next turn while if it fails or critically fails it is reduced to 0 Hit Points and instantly dies. Weird is on the Arcane and Occult Spell Lists.
