Cage. As a single action, a Gylou can transfer a Grabbed creature from one of its tentacles to its lower body’s nest of cage-like tentacles. While this acts like the traditional swallow whole, it does not require an Athletics check. Being caged causes the target to take 4d6+2 bludgeoning damage each round following it being caged. The caged target is considered to still have the Grabbed condition, while the Gylou is no longer considered to have a creature Grabbed by that tentacle. A caged target can try to cut its way free with any slashing weapon that is 1 bulk or less or can try to escape the Grabbed condition with disadvantage. The Gylou’s tentacle cage has AC 25 and 25 damage is required to cut an escape out of tentacle cage. If a caged target cuts its way out, the Gylou cannot use the Tentacle Cage ability for a round and all other caged targets are able to escape as a single action not requiring a check or attack. If a caged target escapes by overcoming the Grabbed condition, only that caged target is freed and the Gylou has no restrictions on using its tentacle cage.

Claw. Melee Strike +19/+15/+11 (agile, finesse, unarmed) with 7d8+4 slashing damage.

Strike Back. As a Reaction, a Gylou can make an attack against an opponent who deals melee damage to the Gylou.

Tentacle. Melee Strike +19/+14/+9 (reach 10 feet, unarmed) with 10d6+4 bludgeoning damage plus Grabbed condition (DC 29). A Gylou can have 2 creatures Grabbed at a time, one with each of its two tentacles, and can maintain both Grabbed conditions at the same time with a single action.
