This rune enhances the weapon to make it more deadly when used with precision. When the wielder meets the requirements for Sneak Attack, thus within 30 feet of the target with either advantage on the Attack Roll or flanking the enemy, the Attack Roll gains the listed Insight Bonus and the Sneak Attack damage increases by listed amount. Unless otherwise listed, a subtlety rune is a rare item.
- Basic (4,750 silvers, +3). The Attack Roll gains a 1d4 Insight bonus and the Sneak Attack gains 2d4 damage.
- Greater (12,000 silvers, +5). The Attack Roll gains a 2d4 Insight bonus and the Sneak Attack gains 4d4 damage. This item is legendary.
