Aura (Fear, 20-foot aura). Any creature that starts its turn within 20 feet of a Pit Fiend must succeed on a DC 37 Will save or be inflicted with the Fleeing condition for 1d4+1 rounds and then the Frightened 3 condition. On a successful save, a creature is inflicted with the Frightened 3 condition. This has the fear and psychic tags.

Creation. A Pit Fiend has 20 Creation Points per 24 hours to transform the following creatures into new forms as long as the creatures remain within 50 feet of the Pit Fiend for the duration.

Legendary Actions (2). A Pit Fiend can use two extra actions per round. This action can be spent at any point in the round directly after a creature’s turn ends and another begins.

Poison. Any creature struck by a Pit Fiend’s bite must make a Fortitude save or the poison begins to spread.

Regeneration (5, Integrity). A Pit Fiend heals 5 hit points per round, at the beginning of its turn, and cannot die as long as this is still functioning. This does not prevent a Pit Fiend from gaining the Unconscious condition should its hit points reach 0. If a Pit Fiend takes damage with the integrity tag, this ability stops functioning for a round. During this round, a Pit Fiend cannot heal damage through Regeneration and can die normally. Attack forms that do not deal hit point damage are not healed by regeneration. Regeneration also does not restore hit points lost from starvation, thirst, or suffocation. A Pit Fiend can regrow lost portions of their bodies and can reattach severed limbs or body parts if they are brought together within 1 hour of severing. Severed parts that are not reattached wither and decay normally.

Claw. Melee Strike +26/+22/+18 (agile, reach 10 feet, unarmed) with 8d8+5 slashing damage plus Disease (Devil Chills).

Constrict. As part of the same action to maintain the Grabbed condition, a Pit Fiend can constrict and inflict 4d8+10 bludgeoning damage.

Tail. Melee Strike +26/+21/+16 (reach 10 feet, unarmed) with 8d8+5 bludgeoning damage plus Grabbed (DC 37).
